BIG DAWGS
Privacy Policy
Effective October 2026
Who this is for
Big Dawgs is a private app for the managers of one fantasy football league. It is not a public social network.
Big Dawgs is not affiliated with or endorsed by ESPN, the NFL, Sleeper, or nflverse.
What the app stores about you
When you create an account, Firebase Authentication stores your email address and password. The league's own servers never receive your password.
If you sign in, the color theme and header you pick can be saved on your account in Firebase Firestore. Only your login can read that. It is there so your look follows you to another phone.
The team you link to your login is also stored in Firestore, with your email and the time you linked it, so league chat and My Team know which manager you are.
A copy of your theme and header stays on the phone too. Clearing the cache does not remove it. Deleting your account does not erase that phone copy. Deleting the app does.
If you allow alerts, a push token for this phone is saved under your login. Alert choices (which kinds you want) are saved there too. See Alerts and crash reports, below.
League data
Scores, rosters, waivers, and the rest of the league are read from ESPN by the league's own backend. The app on your phone does not hold ESPN cookies.
Projections may come from Sleeper. Usage numbers may come from nflverse, a public record of NFL plays. Those sources describe football players, not you.
What we don't do
No ads. No tracking. No analytics SDK. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
There is no betting anywhere in the app. No odds board, and no wagering.
Alerts and crash reports
If you allow alerts, this phone's push token is saved in Firebase Firestore under your login, so the league server can tell this phone about a chat message or a commissioner notice. You choose the kinds in Settings. Turning a kind off stops that kind. The token is removed when you sign out or delete your account. It is not sold and it is not used for ads.
The app sends crash reports to Firebase Crashlytics so a crash can be fixed. A report can include the phone model, the app version, and where in the app it stopped. It does not include your password. Crash reports are not ads and they are not an analytics product. You can turn them off in Settings, under Privacy. That choice stays on this phone.
Deleting your account
In the app, open the menu, then Account, then Delete My Account. That removes your Firebase login, the Firestore document that holds the theme and header saved on your account, the push token saved for your phones, and your team link.
Messages you already sent in league chat stay in the room, because the rest of the league has seen them. Ask the commissioner if you want one removed. A waiver claim or trade you already made stays part of the league's record.
